In Person -  Print our Membership Application and bring it to a branch along with these items:

  • Social Security Number
  • Valid Government Issued picture ID (If your address on the application does not match the address on your license or ID, additional documentation may be required for verification.)
  • $5.00 deposit (your membership share/deposit)
  • Let us know which of our qualifying groups you belong to (see list below)
  • If you do not belong to one of our qualifying groups you can provide a $10.00 membership fee to the community organization of your choice: 
          -  Friends of the Burbank Public Library: a volunteer non-profit organization which
             helps expand public awareness, and fund special programs at Burbank's libraries.

Qualifying Groups

Our field of membership includes:

  1. Employees of the City of Burbank, California;
  2. Full-time employees of Burbank City Employees Association, AFSCME 3143 who work in Burbank, California;
  3. Voting members of the Friends of the Burbank Public Library in Burbank, California who qualify for membership in accordance with its charter and bylaws in effect on September 15, 1999; *
  4. Voting members of the Burbank Historical Society in Burbank, California who qualify for membership in accordance with its charter and bylaws in effect on July 20, 1993; *
  5. Employees of FotoKem Film and Video who work in Burbank,California;
  6. Members of the Burbank Association of Realtors, Burbank, California;
  7. Employees of Burbank Community YMCA who work in or are headquartered in Burbank, CA;
  8. Employees and members of International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees IATSE Local 33 in Burbank, CA.;
  9. Members (Mother's and their Daughters - Ticktockers) of the Burbank Chapter, National Charity League, INC.;
  10. Members, volunteers and Docents of the Autry Museum Docent Council. 

Spouses of persons who died while within the field of membership of this credit union; employees of the credit union; persons retired as pensioners or annuitants from the above employment; members of their immediate families or household; and organizations of such persons. As it relates to eligibility to join this credit union, immediate family member is defined as a spouse, child, sibling, parent, grandparent or grandchild if not living in the same residence. This would include stepparents, stepchildren, stepsiblings and adoptive relationships. Household is defined as persons living in the same residence and who maintain a single economic unit, including any person who is a permanent member of or participates in the maintenance of the household. Temporary employees described in the above field of membership are eligible to join the Credit Union. Burbank Police Reserves and the Police Chaplains are considered employees of the City. * In order to qualify for membership through these organizations, you must reside in Southern California---Los Angeles, Ventura, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, Santa Barbara, San Diego, and Imperial Counties- Zip Codes 90000-93599.
